How a HydraFacial works at Meeral
- Skin check. Our dermatology team looks at your skin and asks about breakouts, sensitivity and the products you use, then suggests a tier.
- Cleanse and exfoliate. A tip on the device gently removes dead skin from the surface.
- Extraction. Suction lifts out blackheads and debris from the pores, without squeezing by hand.
- Hydration. Serums are pushed into the skin to hydrate it and protect it afterwards.
The tiers differ in the serums and steps added on top of the basic treatment. Platinum is the fullest version. Ask us to show you what each tier includes before you choose.

Who should wait, and what a HydraFacial will not do
Wait or ask us first if you:
- Have painful, inflamed acne cysts, a rosacea flare or broken skin.
- Have sunburn, a cold sore, or had a chemical peel or laser on the face in the past week or two.
- Take isotretinoin for acne, or use strong retinoid creams. These can make the skin more sensitive.
- Are pregnant. Some serums are best avoided; tell us so we can adjust or postpone.
A HydraFacial does not whiten skin or change your natural colour. It removes dead skin and clears pores, so skin looks brighter and smoother for a while. It also does not remove deep acne scars or melasma; those need other treatments, which we can discuss.
