How dental implant treatment works at Meeral
- Assessment. One of our PMDC-registered dentists examines the gap, your gums and your bite. Imaging of the jaw is needed to check the bone; we tell you at the first visit what is required and what it costs.
- Preparing the mouth. If a damaged tooth is still there it is removed first. Gum disease is treated before an implant goes in, often starting with scaling and polishing.
- Placing the implant. The area is numbed and the post is placed in the bone. You go home the same day.
- Healing. The bone grows around the post over the following weeks to months. A temporary tooth may be possible while you wait; ask us whether it suits your case.
- The crown. Once the implant is firm, a crown is made to match your other teeth and fixed on top.
Dental implant price in Rawalpindi
| Treatment | Listed price |
|---|---|
| Dental implant | Rs 130,000 per implant |
| PFM crown | Rs 15,000 per unit |
| Zirconia crown | Rs 30,000 per unit |
| Surgical extraction | Rs 15,000 |
| Impacted tooth extraction | Rs 20,000 |
Ask at your consultation whether the crown on top of the implant is part of the Rs 130,000 or charged separately at the crown prices above. What else changes the total:
- How many teeth you are replacing.
- Whether a tooth needs removing first.
- Whether the bone is thin and needs building up before the implant, which adds cost and healing time.
- Any gum treatment needed beforehand.
For comparison, Rawalpindi listings on Oladoc showed implants from about Rs 75,000 to Rs 175,000 depending on the implant brand when we checked in October 2026. Ask any clinic, including us, which implant brand is quoted.
Prices checked 28 October 2026. Listed prices can change; we confirm yours before treatment.
Who should wait, and the risks
An implant may not be the right choice yet if you:
- Smoke heavily, which raises the chance the implant does not fuse with the bone.
- Have diabetes that is not under control.
- Have active gum disease. This is treated first.
- Are pregnant. Most dentists postpone implant surgery until after the baby is born.
- Are a teenager whose jaw is still growing.
- Have had radiotherapy to the jaw, or take bone medicines such as bisphosphonates. Tell us about every medicine you use.
In plain words, the risks are: swelling and bruising for a few days, infection around the implant, the implant not fusing with the bone, and, rarely, nerve irritation that causes numbness of the lip or chin. Good brushing and regular check-ups help an implant last.
